The Penn State Eye Center is recruiting a full-time cornea/external disease specialist.  The position is for a clinician-educator who shares our passion for medical student and resident education.  The Department of Ophthalmology consists of 22 faculty members representing the major ophthalmic subspecialties.  We have an ACGME accredited ophthalmology residency training program with a total of 12 residents.  In addition to our main location in Hershey, we provide ophthalmology services to the Lebanon VA Medical Center located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.  

Penn State Eye Center is part of the major academic health system in Central Pennsylvania.  Our main location in Hershey, Pennsylvania is home to Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Penn State Children's Hospital, and Penn State College of Medicine.  Penn State Children's Hospital is the only free-standing children's hospital in Central Pennsylvania.  In addition to our Hershey campus, Penn State Health is in the midst of a major expansion that includes two new regional hospitals in Lancaster and Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
