Oculoplastic Surgeon

The Department of Ophthalmology, UNC at Chapel Hill, is seeking a full-time open rank oculoplastic/orbital surgeon. Candidates for this position should have completed a 24 month ASOPRS approved post-residency fellowship training in oculoplastic/orbital surgery. The successful candidate must have excellent clinical and surgical skills, ophthalmic ultrasound experience, and a strong commitment to teaching and demonstrate an ongoing interest in clinical and/or basic science research. An M.D. is required, as well as graduation from an approved ophthalmic residency training program, and satisfactory completion of an ASOPRS approved fellowship. Board certification or eligibility, and eligibility for licensure in North Carolina. Excellent training in surgery of the orbit is necessary. Academic rank and salary are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
