Cornea Clinician/Clinician-Scientist

University of Michigan
Kellogg Eye Center

Michigan Medicine’s Kellogg Eye Center is dedicated to improving lives around the world by enhancing vision. Located in culturally rich southeastern Michigan the department has over 100 clinical and research faculty and more than 500 employees in 10 different locations surrounding beautiful Ann Arbor. The department is deliberate in fostering a culture centered around the guiding principles of teamwork, caring, integrity, and innovation.

We are seeking to enhance our faculty by adding positions for both a clinician and a clinician-scientist as members of our cornea service to work in a dynamic and creative academic environment.  Opportunities for partnering with other disciplines exist and the ideal candidate will be interested in innovative program development that addresses the clinical and research needs of our patients.  Contributions toward teaching and administration are highly valued.

We welcome applicants to apply who are Board-eligible or certified in ophthalmology and have completed a cornea fellowship.  These full-time positions can be either on the clinical or instructional track depending on individual qualifications and career aspirations.  The University of Michigan is a collaborative educational institution with leading programs in every discipline from engineering to business to public health with whom our current faculty partner.

Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience and academic credentials.
