Abstract submissions for the 2022 AUPO Ophthalmology Medical Education Open Paper Session and Educating the Educators Meeting are now open.
Abstract submission deadline: October 4, 2021
We are currently accepting abstracts for three different sessions during the AUPO 2022 Annual Meeting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Educating the Educators - Wednesday, January 26, 2022
Submissions for the following content areas will be considered for two separate sessions at the Program Directors Council Educating the Educators meeting comprising the following three subtopics:
- General interest topics that impact resident education
- PGY-1 education topics
- ACGME-related topics (examples: CCC, site visits, surveys, evaluations, surgical logs)
- A select number of PGY-1 and ACGME-related topics will be chosen for a special interactive session
Medical Education Free Paper Session - Friday, January 28, 2022
Submissions for the following content areas will be considered for the Directors of Medical Student Education Council Free Paper Session:
- General interest topics that impact Ophthalmology Undergraduate and Graduate Medical Education
Abstracts must be 200 words or less and should include the following sections: title, background, purpose, methods, results, and conclusions.
