New York Grossman School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology is searching for a full-time faculty member. The appointee will provide patient care in the area of neuro-ophthalmology, as well as medical and surgical care within comprehensive ophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology or oculoplastics. Other duties will include resident teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications the appointee will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship, and join a vibrant, diverse, and distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners at New York Grossman School of Medicine and its affiliates.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York, 3) be board certified or eligible in ophthalmology; 4) have completed an ACGME-approved ophthalmology residency or its equivalent; and 5) have completed an AUPO-FCC compliant fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology or have demonstrated comparable experience.  We prefer applicants who can begin employment on or before 7/1/2021.
