The University of California Davis Eye Center is accepting applications for a highly qualified comprehensive ophthalmologist at the Assistant or Associate level. This position is designed for an individual who will be active in clinical care with the possibility of clinical research. The candidate must have an MD or MD/PhD, be board certified, possess or be eligible for licensure in the state of California, and have interest and experience in teaching in an academic environment. Responsibilities include: clinical patient care, teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows; and university service.

The resulting hire will be at the assistant/associate rank, regardless of the proposed appointee’s qualifications.

The salary range for this position is $315,000 - $380,000 annually. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan (https://aadocs.ucdavis.edu/policies/apm/apm-670.pdf).
