The West Virginia University Eye Institute, Department of Ophthalmology, announces an outstanding opportunity for a Uveitis specialist (ranks available: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV at the WVU Eye Institute.

Duties: Practice in the area of Uveitis. Responsibilities will include providing excellent patient care as well as teaching medical students and ophthalmology residents and fellows.

Qualifications: Applicants must have MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain West Virginia medical license.  Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Ophthalmology. Candidates who have completed a Uveitis fellowship, additional training in other areas such as Medical Retina, Vitreoretinal, Cornea,  Glaucoma or other areas will also be considered. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

At the WVU Eye Institute, you will treat a diverse population and have exposure to clinically challenging cases. Our state-of-the art facility houses all subspecialties of ophthalmology as well as an active research program. This University-based practice is rapidly expanding with a vast patient population offering the opportunity to be busy quickly.
