Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series or Clinical X series – Oculofacial Plastic and Orbital Surgery

The Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at the University of California, Irvine, is seeking candidates for a full‐time faculty position as an assistant, or associate, clinical professor in ophthalmology with subspecialty training in oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery.  The appointment series, dependent upon the qualifications of the candidate, may be a member of the Academic Senate in the Professor of Clinical X Series or in a Non-Senate position in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series.

Candidates must have an M.D. or D.O. degree and fellowship training in the field of oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery. They must be a member in good standing (or a candidate member) of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Candidates must also possess a background of scholarly activity with an interest in clinical or basic science research in oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery. Duties will include clinical care of patients and sharing in the responsibility for didactic and clinical training of fellows, residents, and medical students.
