Glaucoma Specialist

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville seeks to add a full-time Glaucoma Specialist to join our dynamic ophthalmology team.    The ideal candidate will provide expert medical and surgical management of glaucoma, while also contributing to comprehensive ophthalmic care and to the training of ophthalmology residents. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to advanced technology and a diverse patient population.  Major responsibilities include providing excellence in patient care, teaching and if desired, clinical research contributing to a diverse academic eye practice. 

Requirements:

• M.D. (or equivalent degree) or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Ophthalmology residency
• Fellowship training in Glaucoma
• US Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology
• Eligible for medical licensure in Florida
