Full-Time Board Certified/Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist

SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and Maimonides Medical Center

The ophthalmology departments of SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and Maimonides Medical Center are seeking part-time and full-time board certified or board-eligible ophthalmologist licensed or eligible to be licensed in New York to join its faculty in comprehensive, glaucoma, cornea/anterior segment, pediatrics, oculoplastics, retina and neuro-ophthalmology. Candidates must have completed an American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited ophthalmology residency program and fellowship training where appropriate. Responsibilities may include patient care and didactic and clinical education and supervision of residents. Opportunities exist for both clinical and basic science research. Rank and competitive salary are commensurate with qualifications, experience and productivity.
