Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons is seeking an outstanding, collaborative, and motivated Cornea Specialist to join the Division of Cornea and External Disorders. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic academic environment alongside world-class colleagues, where patient care, education, and research are integrated to advance the field of ophthalmology. Responsibilities will include participating in the faculty practice of the Department of Ophthalmology, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and engaging in various educational and research activities.

Successful candidates will be appointed to the full-time faculty at Columbia University’s Department of Ophthalmology with privileges at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

Requirements:

  • License (or eligibility) to practice medicine in New York
  • Board Certification or Eligibility (ABO) in Ophthalmology
  • Fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease
  • Surgical expertise in cornea, refractive, and cataract surgery
