The ophthalmology department of SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time board certified or board-eligible ophthalmologist licensed or eligible to be licensed in New York to join its faculty in pediatric ophthalmology. Candidates must have completed an American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited ophthalmology residency program and have broad training in pediatric ophthalmology. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2024.   Responsibilities will include patient care and didactic and clinical education and supervision of residents. Opportunities exist for both clinical and basic science research, which is highly encouraged. Rank and competitive salary are commensurate with qualifications, experience and productivity.
