Postdoctoral Scholars

The UCLA Stein Eye Institute and Department of Ophthalmology invite applications for postdoctoral scholars to work on basic science and translational research projects focusing on retinal ganglion cells, glaucomatous neurodegeneration and neuroprotection. Candidates with experience in vision research and working with small animal models of glaucoma are preferred. The post-doctoral fellow will lead research projects, execute and analyze experiments, as well as present at scientific meetings and write manuscripts for peer reviewed publication.

Candidates should have a doctorate (Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D.) degree in one of the biological sciences, such as cell biology, neuroscience, molecular biology, or biochemistry and have background in ocular research.
