The University at South Florida, Department of Ophthalmology/USF Eye Institute https://health.usf.edu/care/ophthalmology/ is currently recruiting a Glaucoma Specialist at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor level. Candidates must be BC/E. This position includes a well established outpatient base, protected academic time, teaching of medical students and residents, a new state-of-the-art facility, and excellent benefits. The position will include a large percentage of complex glaucoma and anterior segment surgery in combination with a cataract and MIGS practice.

The USF Eye Institute is located within the main campus of the University of South Florida, Tampa,FL. The USF Eye Institute contains 42 state of the art examination lanes, 2 laser rooms, a procedure room, Skill transfer lab and electrophysiology center. Our state of the art imaging center is equipped with the Zeiss Cirrus OCT and Heidelberg Spectralis HRA-OCT, fundus and slit lamp photography, Optos wide field imaging, HRT, Pentacam, Conofocal microscopy and specular microscopy. There are YAG, Argon, SLT, and Trans-scleral CPC laser capabilities at the main facility. In addition, our newly constructed Morsani School of Medicine and Heart Institute opened in 2019 in downtown Tampa.
