Chief of Ophthalmology Service at Bellevue Hospital

NYU Langone Health Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a board-certified ophthalmologist to serve as the Chief of the Ophthalmology Service at the Bellevue Hospital Eye Clinic. The position works closely with the Chairman of the department, the Vice Chairs of Education and Operations, the residency Program Director, and the Bellevue Hospital administration.

Candidates should have substantial administrative experience. As the chief, the candidate will oversee the administrative operations of the Bellevue Hospital Eye Clinic as well as manage/supervise professional and/or support staff and department trainees (residents/fellows) in the clinic and operating room. For the remainder of the effort, the candidate will provide direct patient care at NYU Langone Eye Center Faculty Group Practice sites, and will perform administrative duties as requested by departmental leadership.

Scholarly activity is required. Academic rank will be dependent upon credentials
