Glaucoma Specialist – Full-time Faculty Appointment

Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons is seeking a dynamic, forward-looking ophthalmologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the Glaucoma Division of the Department of Ophthalmology-Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute. Responsibilities include participation in the faculty practice of the Department of Ophthalmology, teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, and other educational and research activities. A track record of proven positive interactions with residents and fellows is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be appointed to the full-time faculty at Columbia University Department of Ophthalmology at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute with privileges at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Candidates should have a commitment to excellence in patient care and an interest in basic science or clinical research. 

Requirements: License (or eligible) to practice medicine in New York; Board Certification or Eligibility (ABO); Fellowship training in glaucoma.

Academic rank and salary commensurate with experience.
