Glaucoma Surgeon

The Medical College of Georgia Department of Ophthalmology seeks a full-time faculty member to join our Glaucoma Service at the assistant or associate professor level. Applicants must be board eligible or certified and fellowship trained in glaucoma. Duties will include clinical care of patients, didactic and clinical training of fellows, residents, and medical students, and clinical research. Administrative and leadership opportunities will be available as well. The successful candidate will play an important role in growing the glaucoma service and helping to fulfill the academic and clinical missions of the medical center. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Lake Thurmond, one of the largest freshwater lakes east of the Mississippi River, is located a short distance to the north of Augusta, and offers outstanding, year-round recreational opportunities.
