Comprehensive Ophthalmologist (VA)

The Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking an outstanding Comprehensive Ophthalmologist. This position will be based at our affiliated Dallas Veteran’s Administration (VA) Hospital and will also include an appointment on the UT Southwestern faculty. Appointment rank will be commensurate with accomplishments and experience. Responsibilities will involve teaching and staffing resident clinics and operating room. Interests should primarily be comprehensive ophthalmology; however, subspecialty training will be considered, but is not required. Qualifications must include U.S. citizenship and an active medical license to practice in any state, territory or commonwealth in the U.S. or in the District of Columbia. Eligibility for a Texas medical license is required. Candidates should have an M.D. degree, board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology.
