The UCLA Stein Eye Institute and Department of Ophthalmology invite applications for a full-time Assistant Professor in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, with salary and rank commensurate with credentials and experience. Duties include teaching of medical students, ophthalmology residents and fellows, the medical and surgical practice of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, research, and academic and professional service. Further, the Search Committee also seeks candidates committed to contributions to equity, diversity and inclusion and we welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, and/or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence. Applicants should have completed fellowship training or equivalent in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, and be eligible for American Board of Ophthalmology certification and medical licensure in California.
