Neuro-Ophthalmology Open Faculty Position

The OSUWMC Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at The Ohio State University Havener Eye Institute is seeking applications for a specialist in Neuroophthalmology.  The neuroophthalmology area currently consists of one fulltime clinical neuro-ophthalmologist, another that has combined specialties of neuro-ophthalmology / orbital and oculoplastic surgery and an Optometrist with additional neurology training. The demand for neuro-ophthalmology consultation is high and there is a need for an additional neuro-ophthalmologist.

The Ohio State University Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science have 32 clinical faculty that comprise all subspecialties.  There are eighteen residents and six fellows.  This is a full time position that is clinically focused in an academic setting, with an expectation for teaching residents and medical students as well as support for clinical research.   Clinical care will be provided in the local VA and office locations in the Columbus, OH area.

Applicants must be board eligible or board certified in Ophthalmology by the time of appointment, and be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio. Completion of an approved fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology is required at the time of appointment.  Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience and academic credentials.
