Attending Position in Retina/Vitreous

The Department of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York-Presbyterian is searching for a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained specialist in Retina/Vitreous at the Assistant/Associate Professor level.  Individuals must be eligible for licensure in New York.  Strong candidates with demonstrated expertise in the diagnostic, medical, and surgical management of vitreoretinal and macular diseases, as well as a highly active interest in research and teaching, are encouraged to apply.

The Department has multiple locations.  The main facility is housed in an elegant, state-of-the-art 22,000 sq. ft. facility within the Weill Greenberg Center for Ambulatory Care, and the program includes ACGME-accredited residency programs in ophthalmology, with a diverse patient population. In addition, the Department has opened a newly-constructed suite of offices in association with NY Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital expansion and retina services are also offered in this new facility.  The Ophthalmology Department's Dyson Research Laboratory contains an additional 11,000 sq. ft. of bench laboratory space, and the adjacent facilities of New York-Presbyterian and affiliated institutions provide an unmatched opportunity for patient access, research collaborations, facilities, and training.
