The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health is actively recruiting an outstanding oculoplastic surgeon to join our dynamic ophthalmology team.

Job Requirements - PVL

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is seeking an academically oriented oculofacial surgeon who will join our oculoplastics team. This is an open-rank, full-time position on the Clinical Health Sciences track. This position entails clinical activity at the UW Hospital and Clinics and with UW Outreach. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and academic work. Opportunities for clinical research are plentiful. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2019.

Qualified candidates will be considered at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Candidates must have an MD degree, be board-certified (or board-eligible if within five years of residency completion) in ophthalmology, and fellowship-trained in oculofacial surgery (American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery approved training preferred). Base salary compensation is through the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additional compensation is earned through the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation, the clinical arm of University of Wisconsin Health system.
