Confrontation Visual Fields - A Guide for Ophthalmologists-in-Training

This guide describes the techniques required to competently perform confrontation visual fields and includes a mini-atlas of visual field defects as an appendix. The guide may be useful to incorporate into the neuro-ophthalmology curricula of residency training programs and for pre-ophthalmology interns and medical students rotating through ophthalmology.

The guide is authored by Stephen C. Pollock, MD, Associate Professor, Duke University Department of Ophthalmology (retired 2004), whose wish is that the guide be made freely available to all program directors and trainees (i.e., without any fees, prior permission, or other conditions).
