Pediatric Specialist

The University of Missouri (MU), Department of Ophthalmology and MU Health system in Columbia, MO are actively recruiting a pediatric ophthalmologist to join our expanding ophthalmology team.

Job requirements
The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking an academically-oriented pediatric ophthalmologist to join our practice. Our practice currently includes 13 ophthalmologists specializing in Neuro, Glaucoma, Oculoplastic, Cornea, Retina, Pediatric and Comprehensive plus six (6) optometrists and 10+ PhD researchers.  The Department supports 16 resident Ophthalmology training program as well as a 1 and 2 year clinical fellowship within several of our specialties (AUPO accredited). Qualified candidates will be considered at the rank of assistant professor or higher in MU’s clinician-educator path. Candidates must have an MD degree, be board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology, and fellowship-trained in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, and eligible to practice in Missouri.
