The Department of Ophthalmology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is accepting applications for a full-time Surgical Oculoplastic Ophthalmologist at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Applicants should have completed an Ophthalmology residency and Oculoplastic fellowship and be Board eligible or Board certified. The successful candidate will join an established and rapidly expanding University based practice with clinical, research and educational responsibilities. A passion for providing outstanding clinical care and training residents and fellows and becoming part of a “learning health care system” is a requirement.

The Department of Ophthalmology currently has 21 clinical faculty and serves over 100,000 patient visits a year.  We are the only academic medical center in western North Carolina and serve patients from North and South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia and Virginia.

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is a network of five hospitals and the Department of Ophthalmology has seven outreach clinics with our main facility currently on the Medical Center campus.
