We have decided to livestream all in-person sessions that are scheduled in the main General Session Room for registered virtual attendees. This includes Educating the Educators platform presentations on Wednesday, January 26, and Annual Meeting symposia, award presentations, organization reports, Resident and Fellow Research Forum, Ophthalmology Review Committee Update, and more, scheduled for Thursday, January 27 – Saturday, January 29. We anticipate that the majority of presenters will give presentations in person, from the meeting room, so the livestream will be truly live and not a series of pre-recorded sessions. Question and Answer opportunities for those in-person and remote will be available.

In-person attendees can also participate in sessions by livestream from the comfort of their own sleeping room or other common areas in the hotel where wi-fi is accessible if desired.

Administrator and Coordinator Councils are preparing their activities for a format that will best serve these members. More information about these plans will be available soon. 


Registration is required for both in-person and remote attendance and participation. The cost of a virtual registration is the same as an in-person registration.

Requests for partial refunds must be IN WRITING and received at the AUPO office by JANUARY 11, 2022. All cancellations are subject to a $75 administrative processing fee.


Former AUPO members and affiliates may register as alumni without a Chair sponsor. Please submit a registration form.


Non-member Academic and Industry Professional Guests may register for the Annual Meeting; a Chair sponsor is required. Non-member Administrators and Coordinators may register as non-members. All guests may register for the Educating the Educators meeting without sponsorship. Please submit a registration form.
