CANCELLATION POLICY
Requests for partial refunds must be IN WRITING and received at the AUPO office by December 18, 2025. All cancellations are subject to a $100 administrative processing fee.
Alumni
Former AUPO members may register as Alumni for both the Annual Meeting and Educating the Educators at current member/affiliate rates without a Chair sponsor. Alumni must request a registration form at [email protected] (online registration not available).
Non-Members
Professional Guests: Professional Guests may attend the Annual Meeting and/or Educating the Educators. All non-alumni guests attending the Annual Meeting must be sponsored by a pre-registered AUPO Chair (limit two guests per Chair). Educating the Educators does not require sponsorship.
- Academic: Non-member academic department ophthalmologists, research directors, and administrators.
- Industry: Industry representatives.

Non-member Coordinators: Residency Program Coordinators who are not AUPO affiliate members may register for the Annual Meeting as non-member coordinators.
Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows: Registration for medical students, residents, and fellows is limited to those that have been selected for an oral presentation or live poster presentation. Virtual posters are not eligible for meeting attendance. A registration form will be sent to those who are eligible to register.
Personal Guests
Attendees are welcome to register Personal Guests for the Annual Meeting. The personal guest registration includes daily breakfast and breaks, the Thursday evening welcome reception, as well as the Friday evening reception and banquet. A separate banquet-only registration will not be available. Personal guests can be registered online when meeting attendees complete their own registration or submitted separately with a registration form.
Please Note: Personal Guest registration includes spouses, family, and friends. Industry members or those planning to attend the scientific and educational sessions of the meeting must register as Professional Guests.
