Position Highlights

  • Faculty Rank/Track: Appointment rank may be at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level on the clinical or instructional (tenure) track depending on qualifications, career goals, and experience.
  • Clinical Activity: We are seeking to expand our busy pediatric ophthalmology service with patient care based in Ann Arbor and our surrounding community office locations.
  • Academic Opportunities: Participate in or lead innovative clinical research and programmatic initiatives that meet patient and institutional needs. The position also provides opportunities to collaborate with renowned colleagues in disciplines across the University of Michigan.

Education and Qualifications

  • Board-eligible or board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO).
  • Completed fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology.
  • Demonstrated excellence in managing the medical and surgical aspects of pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus.

Eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan
