Columbia University Irving Medical Center is conducting a search for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist to join the Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated colleague who is inspired by the tripartite mission of academia: clinical care, research, and education. Responsibilities include participation in the faculty practice of the Department of Ophthalmology and teaching through our affiliated sites (NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Harlem Hospital). A track record of proven positive interactions with residents and fellows is highly desirable

The successful candidate will be appointed to the full-time faculty at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons’ Department of Ophthalmology at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute with privileges at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Harlem Hospital.

Requirements: License (or eligible) to practice Medicine in New York; Board Certification or Eligibility (ABO); ASOPRS fellowship training in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Academic rank and base salary commensurate with experience.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the department's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
