Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a motivated and passionate Neuro-Ophthalmologist to join our team. As a faculty member, you will work in a well-established academic practice in Hershey, PA with an ever-growing demand for high-quality ophthalmologic care.  We place an emphasis on teamwork within the Department of Ophthalmology as well as among our colleagues in Neurology, Neurosurgery, and the other medical and surgical specialties.

About the Department of Ophthalmology:

Our eye and vision care experts treat the full range of eye conditions, covering the full spectrum of care for even the most complex eye disease in people of all ages and backgrounds, including child-friendly eye care for children.

We use the latest approaches to diagnose and treat eye and vision problems. Because we have experts in every ophthalmic subspecialty, patients receive comprehensive care and personal attention from leading experts in their fields.  Our ability to coordinate care in a single location ensures our patients are being seen by the right person at the right time every time. 

Educational opportunities abound.  The Department of Ophthalmology hosts a fully accredited, four-year integrated residency training program and is actively involved in the education of the medical students enrolled at the Penn State College of Medicine located on the Hershey campus.

What we're seeking:

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of accredited ophthalmology residency training program
  • Fellowship training in Neuro-Ophthalmology
  • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
  • BC/BE in Ophthalmology
  • Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
