Comprehensive Ophthalmologist Opportunity
West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is seeking a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our practice in Summersville, WV. In addition to providing excellent patient care, he or she will also be involved in teaching allied health professionals.
Surrounded by world-class outdoor recreational activities, Summersville is located in the heart of West Virginia and is less than 30 minutes to the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve (one of the few National Parks located on the East Coast). Here you will find whitewater rafting, beautiful dense hardwood forests, trails, and mountain climbing for both land and water adventurers alike.

Applicants must have an MD or DO foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited ophthalmology residency program be board certified/eligible in ophthalmology.
