The West Virginia University Eye Institute, Department of Ophthalmology, announces an outstanding opportunity for a fellowship-trained Vitreoretinal Specialist (ranks available: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.

Duties: Practice in Ophthalmology focused on Vitreoretinal. Responsibilities will include providing excellent patient care as well as teaching medical students and ophthalmology residents and fellows.

Qualifications: Applicants must have MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license.  Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Ophthalmology. Candidates must have completed  a vitreoretinal fellowship. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

At the WVU Eye Institute, you will treat a diverse population and have exposure to clinically challenging cases. Our state-of-the art facility houses all subspecialties of ophthalmology as well as an active research program. This University-based practice is rapidly expanding with a vast patient population offering the opportunity to be busy quickly.
