The Department of Ophthalmology and the Viterbi Family, Department of Ophthalmology at University of California San Diego (http://health.ucsd.edu/specialties/eyes/Pages/default.aspx) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Department is recruiting for a Project Scientist or a Research Scientist.

Appointment level/rank is dependent upon academic experience and scholarly achievements.

Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidates must be PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent with an emphasis in Neuroscience, Ophthalmology, Retinal Degeneration, Signal Pathways, or Stem Cell.
