The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking an experienced Board-certified, fellowship trained oculoplastic surgeon to join our full time faculty.   Candidates must hold an M.D. or M.D., Ph.D. degree, be eligible for licensure in the state of New York and have completed a minimum 12 month fellowship in oculoplastic surgery.  The appointment will be made at rank commensurate with qualifications, at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank.

Faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology engage in teaching, research and service. Candidates will be expected to provide medical and surgical care including consult and emergency services at the Einstein-Montefiore affiliated hospitals, including the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, train residents and medical students, and make academic contributions to the field.

There is an ACGME accredited residency program with five residents per year.
