New York Grossman School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology is searching for an ophthalmologist to join the full-time faculty. The appointee will provide patient care in the area of neuro-ophthalmology. Other duties will include resident teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications the appointee will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship, and join a vibrant, diverse, and distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners at New York Grossman School of Medicine and its affiliates.

Qualifications

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York, 3) be board certified or eligible in ophthalmology; 4) have completed an ACGME-approved ophthalmology residency or its equivalent; and 5) have completed an AUPO-FCC compliant fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology or have demonstrated comparable experience. We prefer applicants who can begin employment on or before 7/1/2022.
