University of California, Los Angeles

The Stein Eye Institute and Department of Ophthalmology invite applications for an outstanding vision scientist at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level, with salary and rank commensurate with credentials and experience. In addition to leading an independent, and federally‐funded research program, the candidate may also be expected to collaborate or direct core facilities within the Institute supporting a wide range of functional studies on fundamental aspects of visual function and dysfunction. The candidate should have demonstrated potential for outstanding academic contributions and an excellent teaching record. Further, the Search Committee also seeks candidates committed to contributions to equity, diversity and inclusion, and we welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, and/or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence.

Candidates will be eligible for appointment to the Joan & Jerome Snyder Endowed Chair in Vision Science.
