West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology seeks a BC/BE Neuro Ophthalmologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. 

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Neuro Ophthalmology.  In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.  For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, it is expected that candidates sustain an outstanding, extramurally supported research program. Responsibilities will include providing excellent patient care as well as teaching medical students and ophthalmology residents and fellows. Knowledge of working with ROP, adult strabismus and a pediatric cataract is important. Opportunities exist to participate in clinical and translational research.

Qualifications: Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.  Candidates must be board certified / eligible in Ophthalmology or Neurology. Candidates must have completed an accredited ophthalmology or neurology residency program and neuro-ophthalmology fellowship. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
