The Department of Ophthalmology at the LSU Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine in New Orleans is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position as a Glaucoma subspecialist the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). The successful candidate will be expected to integrate clinical duties with departmental educational programs for medical students, residents and fellows. Engagement in and support of departmental clinical research is preferred. Practice locations are situated in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

  • MD or MD/PhD
  • Board certified/board eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana by date of hire
  • Fellowship training in glaucoma
