The Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Casey Eye Institute is recruiting a full-time Comprehensive Ophthalmologist for its affiliated clinics located in Hood River and The Dalles, Oregon.

OHSU is a leading health and research university that strives for excellence in patient care, education, research and community service. This position will be part of the OHSU Casey Eye Institute, which is a highly regarded department including 56 ophthalmologists, 7 optometrists, and numerous basic science faculty. Other subspecialty services include cornea, retina, glaucoma, oculoplastics, pediatric ophthalmology, ophthalmic pathology, oncology, uveitis and ocular immunology, low vision, and ophthalmic genetics. Our training programs include strong residency education with 15 residents, and 9 clinical fellows.

This position will have a strong clinical emphasis with an established referral base and active surgical load, and will also hold an academic OHSU appointment. The ideal candidate must be board certified or board eligible. Oregon state medical licensure is required. A competitive benefit package will be offered.
