The State University of New York (SUNY) – Downstate is currently recruiting a neuro-ophthalmologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Candidates must be BC/E and have completed sub-specialty training by the time of appointment. This position includes teaching of residents and medical students, clinical practice and opportunities for research. The position also includes development of a neuro-ophthalmology practice.

SUNY Downstate is located in Brooklyn NY. It has one of the largest residency programs in the country covering multiple hospitals within the NYC boroughs of Brooklyn and Staten Island. Faculty practice and residency locations are fully equipped for advanced ophthalmic care and faculty are expected to contribute significantly to resident education. The Department also offers exceptional possibilities for clinical research serving a highly diverse patient population with exceptional levels of ophthalmic pathology.
