At the WVU Eye Institute you will treat a diverse population of pediatric and adult strabismus patients and have exposure to clinically challenging cases.  Our state-of-the art facility houses all subspecialties of ophthalmology as well as an active research program.  This University-based practice is rapidly expanding with a vast patient population offering the opportunity to be busy quickly.  Faculty appointment commensurate with qualifications and a very competitive compensation and benefit package is available.

WVU Medicine provides the most advanced level of care available to the citizens of West Virginia and bordering states.  Major expansion is underway to Ruby Memorial Hospital, recently adding a 10-story tower and an additional 114 licensed beds.  A new 150-bed full service women’s and children’s hospital will open on the medical campus in 2020 to help address the growing demand for pediatric services.
