The Department of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York-Presbyterian Hospital is searching for an Optometrist who completed a cornea and contact lenses residency. Individuals must be eligible for licensure in New York. Strong candidates with commitment to providing outstanding patient care as well as a highly active interest in teaching are encouraged to apply.  New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!

The Department has multiple locations with optometric services offered in all locations.  The main facility is housed in an elegant, state-of-the-art 22,000 sq. ft. facility within the Weill Greenberg Center for Ambulatory Care, and the program includes ACGME-accredited residency programs in ophthalmology, with a diverse patient population. In addition, the Department has a suite of offices downtown in association with NY Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital expansion. A third suite of offices has just been opened on 69th Street near the main facility and other satellite locations are planned throughout the New York area. The Ophthalmology Department's Dyson Research Laboratory contains an additional 11,000 sq. ft. of bench laboratory space, and the adjacent facilities of New York-Presbyterian and affiliated institutions provide an unmatched opportunity for patient access, research collaborations, facilities, and training.
