The Department of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York-Presbyterian is searching for a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained specialist in glaucoma at the Assistant/Associate Professor level.  Individuals must be eligible for licensure in New York.  Strong candidates with demonstrated expertise in the diagnostic, medical, and surgical management of glaucoma, as well as a highly active interest in research and teaching, are encouraged to apply.

The Department has three locations with glaucoma services offered in all locations.  The main facility is housed in an elegant, state-of-the-art 22,000 sq. ft. facility within the Weill Greenberg Center for Ambulatory Care, and the program includes ACGME-accredited residency programs in ophthalmology, with a diverse patient population. In addition, the Department has a suite of offices downtown in association with NY Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital expansion. A third suite of offices has just been opened on 69th Street near the main facility and other satellite locations are planned throughout the New York area. The Ophthalmology Department's Dyson Research Laboratory contains an additional 11,000 sq. ft. of bench laboratory space, and the adjacent facilities of New York-Presbyterian and affiliated institutions provide an unmatched opportunity for patient access, research collaborations, facilities, and training.
