The Flaum Eye Institute at The University of Rochester Medical Center is expanding and seeks an outstanding Ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea and External Disease. We are seeking an individual who is board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Candidates must possess an M.D. degree and be eligible for New York State licensure. Successful completion of at least one year of fellowship training or an established reputation in Cornea and External Disease is required. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and credentials.

Incumbent provides direct patient care in both clinic and operating room settings, and provides teaching to ophthalmology residents and fellows. Incumbent must also hold a faculty appointment with the University of Rochester. The incumbent is responsible to contribute to the achievements of quality of care standards, efficiency, process improvement, and patient satisfaction. They are expected to practice in accordance with professional standards, core values, and with a commitment to service excellence.
